Splashing out on shoes

Hi all, thanks for your comments on my last two nightmarish posts!! What a WEEK!

Well I have been looking for some new black shoes that I can wear to work and also wear to drinks and other such exciting things as one occasionally attends. So I trawled the web today and finally found some beauties!

I bought these two pairs from Endless.com (I had to severely narrow it down. But hey, I might be back!!)

Leather shoe boots by Messeca (here)

Leather platforms by Jessica Simpson (here)
They also come in a gorgeous nude, but I need black shoes, not nude shoes.

Endless.com do pretty quick delivery (and FREE) to NZ so they should be within my little mitts very soon! Yay!

What have you bought lately?

What I won! Shoes shoes shoes!

Hi all - TGIF! This week seems to have flown by and all of a sudden it's Friday and I haven't posted since....umm I don't remember, maybe Monday?! Tut tut.

So I have some exciting news to share - I WON SHOES! And not just one pair, but TWO PAIRS! Those of you who follow me on Instagram (@sadiesadiesadie BTW), will think this is old news, haha. But yes, two Fridays in a row I won fabulous shoes.

Here's pair one:
Brand: Kandee. I was VERY excited to win Kandee shoes as I have drooled over them for a year! If you haven't heard of Kandee shoes - check out their website. But BEWARE, it's way too tempting to buy a pair (or two!!).

How I won them: By Tweeting like, 350 times! Yes, seriously! Luckily I can multitask (or should I say, multi-Tweet?!) and I did it whilst working over about three hours. And Mr Kandee chose the winner - ME! YAY. They arrived a week later and are utterly fabulous and came with a gorgeous dust bag, a small packet of popping candy and a fab business card holder. YAY.

Down side: They are too BIG :( They are my size (37) but way too big. I asked to exchange them but rather unhelpfully they said I was too far away and to try an insole!I'm not keen on the idea of an insole with a peep toe?! So I think I will have to put them on eBay :( So sad.

And here's pair two:
Brand: Jeffrey Campbell from Shoe Connection

How I won them: By uploading a crazy shoe photo and poem to the Shoe Connection Facebook page (yes both pairs were won via social media!). I could choose which colour / print I wanted from the store and originally decided to go for the cat print ones (below) which were AMAZE but looked majorly clumpy on the ends of my (clumpy) little legs. So classic black it was!
You can see why I wanted these ones, right?!
Down side: None, except the fact that Wellington has been gloriously sunny since I won them and so I haven't had a chance to wear them yet... :)
So there's my news! What's the most exciting thing you ever won? :)

A little help please!!

Hi all, happy hump day to you!
I am entering my first ever 'proper' competition on Facebook and would LOVE you forever if you could help me out by liking my competition photo!

The photo is of me engulfed with shoes and the prize is a pair of JC Litas!!!! WOW! The comp is judged by Shoe Connection, and not by 'likes' but I thought it might help if I had some 'likes' anyway! Oh and read my poem that accompanies it - so ridiculous! Haha.

Anyway THANKS in advance and I'll be back full and proper tomorrow :D

I'm a celebrity - get me outta here!!

Hey all! Well you probably haven't heard, but last night Wellington had a (minor) earthquake, it was off the coast of the south island but boy did I pee my pants!! I've experienced quakes in Christchurch last Christmas but never in my own home! So needless to say I am glad to be getting out of the country today!

I am currently sat in the business lounge at Auckland airport, sipping bubbles in celebration of being granted an upgrade. NOT a free one, before you ask HOW, but one using my airpoints. They're still like magic dust to come by, so I'm pretty chuffed and hope it'll make the next 26 hours of flying a little nicer!

So here's one of the new purchases I mentioned last time: the sickest shoes i've ever owned. So bad they're amazing. These shots were taken after a very long day: waking at 6am with a sickness bug, doing a market 12-5, packing my suitcases and then having the shock of the quake! So excuse the tiredness :)
Such a tired face!!Silk top, Zara, leggings, Glassons, Booties, Endless.com

Whadya think of the sickos then!?

I did have more photos but the internet here is waaaaay tooooo slow so i give up! :)

While the cat's away: I'll show you my wardrobe!

The boyfriend is in Oman for work at the moment and so whilst I've been living the bachelorette lifestyle I've not been able to get pictures of my daily outfits. It's a bit annoying because I miss my fashion posts!!

Last week I spied a post on Along Abbey Road about her 'Treasure Trove' or jewellery box. I really enjoyed getting an insight into her fashion accessories and treasures, and also enjoy posts on sites like B. Jones Style where we get a snapshot of their wardrobe. SO I thought to myself - why don't I do that?! It's a way of getting my fashion-fix without relying on someone else to take the pics.

So this time I am sharing my SHOE CUPBOARD!

I am slightly shoe mad (well, EVERYTHING mad, but shoes are probably the most excessive of my purchases). These are my 'everything' shoes - ie, these aren't my summer shoes and they're not my winter boots. Hope you like having a nosey and I'd love to have a nosey back if you feel like sharing too!

This is where my most-used shoes live...

Here are some of my favourites <3
I LOVE these Alberto Guardiani shoes so much. Toot toot! Great for a dreary day!

These puppies stay in the box. They're the ONLY expensive pair of shoes I have bought in NZ, for a black tie gala last November.

Variations of a theme...brogue stylee! Mainly work shoes.
My mum posted the purple/blue brogues to me from the UK last year as a surprise. I'd seen them when I was at home, but when I went to buy them they'd gone (it's like that in TK Maxx!) - she found them a week later and I received the BEST package ever :D

Colourful platform sandals spice up a plain outfit!

You can never have too many black shoes!

Metallic party shoes

Coloured courts anyone?!

These disgusting flip flops were a running joke at home. They were my mum's and we all made fun of them...She managed to sneak them into one of my 3 suitcases when I moved to NZ, and I found them when I unpacked with this note attached...
It made me smile! Especially seeing as I'd arrived on the other side of the world where I knew just one person!!!

Next time I will share my CLOTHES or JEWELLERY :)

This week I was also tagged in a post by Kimberly at City Style. So I'm joining in!
